Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Ingredients:
1 c margarine
1 c packed brown sugar
1/3 c sugar
2 eggs
1 ½ t vanilla
1 ½ c flour
1 t baking soda
2 ½ c oats (quick-cooking)
11-12 oz butterscotch chips (2 small or 1 large bag)

Procedure:
Melt margarine a bit—add sugars and stir. Add eggs and vanilla—beat. Mix together flour and baking soda, then add to sugar mixture. Stir in oats. Stir in chips.
Spray 2 8x8 pans with nonstick cooking spray. Turn batter into pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool several minutes then cut into squares and finish cooling on rack.

Variations:
This is a 10 with butterscotch chips, an 8 with semisweet chocolate or cinnamon chips, and a 5 with peanut butter or vanilla chips.
Can use Splenda instead of granulated sugar.
Can use white wheat flour instead of white flour.
